Opening one tired eye, Owen was slowly stirring up from his nap at the Hub. He was comfortable sleeping on the couch near his work station. He called for a vote with his pronouns.
‘Stay,’ I said.
‘I say that’s good!’ the myself said.
‘Yea what is good for you two is good for me,’ the me said.
Owen tried to smile at the results of the voting. He could feel his heavy dead body lying on top of his left arm. He liked the heavy feeling of his body, but there was a price for lying on your limb. But he decided not to care at this moment. It was nice and quiet. There was nobody to bother him here. He was alone with his pronouns and the equipment in the Hub. Everybody had left already, Owen had decided to stay behind to work on a paper on the newest alien plant that had fallen through the rift. He had placed it aside and figured he could work on it later. Actually since the plant had appeared on the Rift everyone had been having yawning attacks. Almost drowsily a thought came to Owen, that plant it could be toxic. He was so tired, he needed to sleep, he’s eyes were closing against his will. Before he knew it he’d gone back to sleep. And yes Owen was right, the plant a toxic gas. Invisible to the human eye capable of causing deep sleep on those exposed to it and lord knows what else.
The last thing Owen remember before he’d gone to sleep was that the team had picked up the alien plant after it had fallen from the rift. It had been simple, it had slipped in, Toshiko had picked it up. The team then headed back to the hub.. It didn’t took them long to figure it was a plant. It was simple. No attacking aliens! No body falling and getting hurt. It had no gases, no escaping aliens. It was just a plant. Jack informed the team they could go home. Owen decided to stay and work more on it. After the team had gone, Owen decided to take a nap. But now Owen had realized the plant was a possible threat. He couldn’t do anything because the affects from the plant were too strong now., one would think Torchwood would be more careful when picking things from rifts.

Walking around the console The Doctor pondered for a moment, he hadn’t visited Torchwood in quiet some time and having some time of well the doctor always had time off he thought that he would visit the place. The Doctor wondered if Jack would be there but there was only one way to find out and that was to go and see. Pressing a few buttons on the console of his Tardis The Doctor watched as it burst into life and the familiar sounds were heard. Outside the blue box vanished into space though not like anyone could see.
The Doctor waited for a moment so the Tardis could reach its destination he folded his arms and stood there in silence. The Doctor had noticed that everything was now quiet and so he picked up his sonic screwdriver and placed it back inside his jacket. Taking one good look around the place The Doctor turned and opened the door of his Tardis. Steeping out he closed the door and looked around at the Torchwood institute, he smiled and wondered where everyone would be. The Doctor had heard about Jack’s team but he didn’t know that much about them well he gathered that was about to change.
The Doctor had realized that he had landed the Tardis inside some guys work station just inches away from the couch where a person was half asleep well probably asleep. The Doctor saw the plant and frowned he knew of its toxic nature and he would have thought that Jack knew better. “HEY!” The Doctor shouted at the guy sleeping on the couch. “Don’t you know that its poison, this plant?” The shouted again. “Oi! I’m talking to you.” The Doctor took out a banana from his jacket and threw it at the guy this time. Note: Hope you don't mind me replying to this thread ;D

“HEY!”
“Mum,” Owen mumbled softly. “I am sorry,” the image of his mum was yelling at him in his bedroom when he was eleven. He was living his wicked poor child hood again and it was a living nightmare that haunted him again. Don’t you know that its poison, this plant? But he was confused that his mum was yelling at him about poison. What have he did with poison? He couldn’t recall. “Okay mother today I am poison. You said you loved me and did not like me. Now I am poison, whoopee,” he sighed. He felt his heart ache from the pain from his mother hurtful words. He pulled his legs closer because he was imaging himself hiding from his yelling mother who was actually the Doctor yelling warnings at Owen.
His mother threw a book at him, but reality it was the banana the Doctor had threw at Owen. The banana had hit Owen’s head. In the dream reality, Owen had lost his will power to move and runway from his mother.
“Ow,” Owen said sarcastically. “Mother why don’t you go lay down,” Owen told to his mum in his poisoned dream. It was all real to Owen that he was back being eleven years old. Owen felt he had no hope. He had no power. He was trapped. He could not move! Horror struck his heart like a cold icy blade. He was unable to move. He was paralyzed. He fought to scream but he couldn’t.
[it is great! I don't mind]

[add a reply because I felt it was weak.] Owen’s eyes shot open. He grabbed the banana and he looked at it. That was not a book. “Oi!” Owen said looking at the Doctor. He sat up in the couch. He dropped the banana and the banana landed on the floor. Owen felt he was drunk. He could not be drunk. He was a walking corpse.
He stood up. The world was spinning in Owen’s head. He stumbled his way to the gunnery station. He placed his hand on the wall. He felt nothing. It was there. He put his hand on the steel railing. He felt it was not there. He knew it was smooth and cold. He had concentrated to walk down the stairs. He grabbed a small oxygen tank, he put against his face. He grabbed another mask and tossed it the thin bloke. “Here, catch!” Owen yelled.
Owen took a few deep breathes but he felt no change. He pulled the breathing mask off his face. He looked at the mask. “Useless,” he cried out loud. He threw the mask against the wall.
Owen leaned his weight against the wall. He had to fight to think. Toxin plant, deadly, and they need to stop it. Owen was fighting to make his mind work. Come on, Owen thought. It was like he had a brain disease. He turned around, he grabbed a container. “This container has a seal,” he lifted the container and pushed it up on the floor above him. “Place it in there. You will be faster,” Owen said to the Doctor. Owen did not know the bloke was. He felt weak. He leaned against the wall and slide down to the floor. “I am sorry….” He said giving up the hope. He did not want to die. He had hoped the strange thin man will succeed sealing the plant.
