Hi! So, I'm Leviafan, posting here before choosing a character in hopes it'll help me decide. That's the curse of the Geminis, or so I'm told by the horoscopes.

Anyway, I got into Doctor Who about three years ago. Kind of a long story, but I found out about the show through a fan-made audio drama— I'm also really into old-time radio and its descendants. So, on to the visual medium: I began with Genesis of the Daleks, started watching the new series too, now I'm hopelessly hooked. Furthermore, Big Finish owns my soul. Or half my bank account. Whichever's worth more. XD

My favorites, always a tough question. Doctors, not really in order: Two, Seven, Six, Eleven, Eight, Three, and the others are all fairly close behind. Companions: Ace, Charley, Jamie, Liz Shaw, Jo Grant, Donna, Romana. You can probably tell I'm partial to the classic series, but oh well. Them's the way it is.

Also, I have non-Who interests, oddly enough! Mostly learning about languages, history, and politics; collecting typewriters, and birding. I write a lot, mostly short fanfiction and there's the stab at a novel every November or so. As for roleplaying, it's usually multi-fandom or Doctor Who sites for me, playing characters from the classic series where I can.

Well, that didn't help much with the decision-making, but there it is.

Welcome! Well if it helps most of your favorite Doctors are still open. It would be great to have Eighth around for the Time War and such, you could also have Romana(also for Time War things. You could also take Six and not just because I play the Valeyard in another site and that would be great. >.> So yeah anyone is welcomed now.

Is good to see a Big Finish fan, I need to get me some of them to extend my love for 6, 7 and 8.

Oh, I haven't done this yet, have I? I guess it's my turn, then!

So I go my Liv. I've been roleplaying for quite some time, though I've only gotten into Doctor Who rp'ing in the past year or so. I've watched it since 2005, so Nine is technically my Doctor. However, I also love Ten and Eleven in the series, so I don't know if I could ever pull off which is my favourite. I also have listened to some Big Finish audioplays (they are amazing!), so I also love Eight. Yesh. Charley is possibly my favourite companion from it so far, though I've not listened to all of her's yet by far. (And I just started playing her on another site, actually.) As for the New Who, I loved Rose when I first watched her and until... er, possibly last year. I still like her lots, but... yeah. lol. I like Martha post-Series Three and I LOVE Donna. When I need a good laugh, I watch Series Four. While I loved Tennant, I was ready for a new Doctor, and Matt Smith is love. <3 I adore Amy and Rory, and Series Five (plus this Christmas Special) was just magical.

I also like making graphics and writing fanfic. Neither of which I've done lately. I'm currently in university and studying journalism, so creative writing in roleplaying is a nice side-hobby.

So... nice to meet all of you! I hope you to roleplay with you all a lot!

I am artist since I was able to pick a pencil and draw on paper. I loved paper when I was a kid. I was always drawing my heart out. I was into Doctor Who 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and the list goes on. I had watched the first episode of 11th Doctor and never watched another episode. I don't watch much TV. And I am an actor who does not like TODAY film stories and the media of this NEW generation of writers. I shut up on that. But I love the old school stuff. Vincent Price stuff. Star Trek always been my fave for great stories and character development. Torchwood I did not like at first but I decided to watch it. I was like who is that jerk Owen. He is an arse! So next thing I got hooked on him. In a way he reminds me of my mom. LOL. He is so much like mom it is scary. She died two years ago about this time from lung cancer. So DON'T SMOKE please it kills. I like to keep myself busy. I took the BORED out of my books. As an actor I love working on myself and other things come along with it. Like I am going back to the one to two hour speech drills are so wonderful fun...hm.

So I shut up because I am on my way to work at the gym! And I recommend you work out too. And I love SHAKESPEARE and old classic plays and I work on them on the side for acting. Okay! I train myself like an English actor who is American. I like how they do it and I stick with it.

Well...Aloha! Registered Newbie's Intro Post, Begin!

Ack, never been good at these intro posts. I tend to ramble on far too much anyway, without actually saying anything. But hey, here goes. I'm Nyx, though my real name is Ella (don't ask, seriously...I can't even remember why people call me Nyx now), although, on here you can call me John if you forget. Because I has John Hart! Hahahaa...*coughs* I live in the UK, so am a sufferer of stupid timezones, but I'm active far too often really.

I've been into Doctor Who longer than I've been into RPing, admittedly. Started watching Doctor Who when New Who started on the BBC, and haven't missed an episode since. My Doctor is 9, because he brought it back so well (and him in the Big Brother house? Hahaa, funny), but Tennant was amazing. And yet...11 is catching up pretty fast. Doubt I'll ever be able to choose between them, so I'll leave it as just 9. For reasons already said. My favourite companion so far has been Donna, followed by Rose, then Amy. I didn't much like Martha, not until she was in Torchwood anyway.

But better than them, for me, are the baddies. I have to admit that I do love the baddies of Doctor Who. Simm!Master was amazing, and then in Torchwood, Captain John Hart? Awesomeness! So I couldn't resist choosing to play John on here. Because he is mine. *nods smugly* Although...I only really saw series 2 of Torchwood. Caught up with series one later, but thought it was a bit dull, and refused to watch after they killed off Tosh and Owen...again. But Series 2 of Torchwood was epic!

Other fandoms I RP...uh, there's quite a few really. Harry Potter, Buffy, WR, simply Torchwood ones, then animal RPs like wolves and cats. Plus fantasy ones, like Angels and Demons, and characters like that. I'm RPing anything and anyone at the moment. And keep telling myself I should cut back until I find somewhere new, like here.

And I think I should stop now, before I ramble much more. Looking forward to RPing with you all!

RAWR! Guess it's my turn eh? Well, I'm not your typical high-school freshman. I have a magor Doctor Who addiction. It all started when I was watching Dr.Who becouse nothing else was on and I saw the Tenth Doctor. Oiy, i thought he was sooooo adorable so I started watching the show, then I got hooked. After that I made it my mission to watch all of Ten's episodes (I'm still missing a lot of Donna's season though).

Then I bactracked to Nine and saw some of his stuff. I loved nine as well but he irked my nerves at first. I used to hate him actually......Then one day I'm about to start a role play and I need a face-claim. So I think....Well who's the guy that played Captain Jack? So I loooked him up and that's when I found out about Torchwood. The whole time it had been on air I never watched it becouse I never knew what it was about. But when I realised that Jack had his own spin-off I jumped right on it!
So yeah I've only been a Torchwood fan for about a month now but I know practically everything about it. I mean I watched all the seasons in about two weeks.

So through that I became a huge fan of John Barrowman and James Marsters (which in turn has me now wanting to watch BTVS). I love to play video games, which is what i do 100% of the time when I'm not role playing.
