Next Weekend

Figured I should get this up now just in case I forget but next weekend I won't be around much. Friday I'm going home and need to get all of my homework for the weekend done then because on Saturday I have a hair appointment early in the morning and then I'm doing some school shopping and then I'm taking a little road trip to Pittsburgh (two-hour drive) because my parents and I are going to the Steelers game the next day. I should be back home early Sunday night-ish. But Sunday also happens to be my birthday and it's been a little over a month since the last time I went home so I'll want to spend the rest of the night with the pets and my sisters...although, they're not as important as the pets. hahaha...and probably doing other things that I can only do at home. (*cough* Beatles Rock Band *cough*). So just a warning that I won't be around much next weekend!!!!!

hahaha! Last year tickets to their game against the Ravens was my 21st birthday gift. My dad really wanted to go to another game this season, and it's just a big coincidence that the game he wanted to go to fell on my birthday (last year's game was three days before it).

I probably shouldn't be telling you this but I'm also a Ravens fan. Don't ask me how. Don't ask me why. I've been a Ravens fan a few years longer than a Steelers fan so they're always going to hold a special place in my heart. *Is wearing a Ray Rice jersey right now*

And I have to add that I love Pittsburgh! The first time I went there was for a Pirates game against the Indians (I'm from the Cleveland area). I've been there since only twice. Once for that Steelers game and then this past May for the Pirates/Dodgers game because I'm a huge Dodgers fan.

...I should say boo, shouldn't I? Oh well. I don't know much about football. Hockey is where my love is.

Pittsburgh is actually a nice city. I'm a Washington DC native and I'm up here for college. Not quite sure if I wanna go back. Lawd knows I like it here.

Where do you go to school? I really, really, really wanted to go to the University of Pittsburgh but apparently my parents telling me I could pick whatever school I wanted to really meant that I could only pick an in-state school.

PS: We need to eventually plot something with Ten and Eleven. They'd be so much fun together! =)

I'm in hell. Also known as nursing school. I'm not at Pitt; had an issue with their admissions department and opted for one of the smaller local nursing schools. There are benefits to in-state schools, though. Like, its a lot cheaper. Usually.

And YES. Ten and Eleven need to meet. The insanity would be glorious.

Unless you're going to a private school, like me! Going to Pitt would have been less expensive than where I am now, even with the couple of scholarships that I have.

We need to get some random encounter of them going ASAP. I was going to try and get up an open thread with Ten right now so feel free to have Eleven jump in if you want to!
