Standing at the cashier in the book store, Ianto was purchasing a new leather cover journal for his journaling. He needed to be well supplied. The cashier was a female, a youngling, she work for her mother who owns the book store. Paying her by credit the girl took his credit card and swiped it. She was clever too because as she was waiting for Ianto’s credit card to approved she was checking her text messages from her boyfriend. She seemed to ignore Ianto because he was a regular. It was taking a bit longer, which she was rudely texting her boyfriend how it was a drag on how she was working by herself.
That’s when a noise came from Ianto’s pocket. It was an alarm on a rift disturbance. Trying to be polite, he smiled sweetly to the girl, “Can I have my card please?” A few button pushing, the cashier hand his credit card and the paper. Taking out his pen out of his jacket, he had always carried his own pen. Squibbing his initials with his pen, which was messy for Ianto, “I will be back,” said Ianto rushing out of the store. Tucking his credit card in his pocket, he yanked out the pad he had.
Looking at the pad, it was showing something was nearby. It was very good, but he had used it a long time ago. It was the one alien artifact he did not tell Jack he had. Slowly moving the direction, he was heard something. He was wondering in the back of his head. Why was he going alone? Should he contact the team? It could be nothing? It could be a false alarm which happen all lot with his alarm. It seemed to have 5% accuracy. It was the tracker he used to hope to find Jack when he was missing which it failed.
Moving to the dark alley way, he was trying to see if there was something down there but he was trying to hide. He grabbed the trash can lid, that was his defence and weapon.
