• PLEASE DON'T LET THIS DANGER JUST BE ANOTHER DREAM •
There was something special about waking up in the TARDIS every morning. To here the humming sound, and so see all the flashing lights. Amy Pond was finally at peace with herself. She helped save the universe, got married, got her parents back and brought the Doctor back when nobody else remembered. And now she was on her honeymoon with Rory, allowing the Doctor to choose their location, which was not as bad as it sounded, although something always bad happened while there, but she guessed that was just a perk of being a companion to a Time Lord.
Today spot was earth, since Amy and Rory both requested that they do a little shopping before they were off again. When you spend a long time in a police box which was bigger on the inside than out that traveled time and space, you really did need clothes and food. Rory wanted to get the food and although he insisted that she went with him, Amy was actually quiet tired of being up all night (Err.. *cough, cough*) and she told Rory that she would catch up with him later. It was a small town (not as small on Leadworth, but still rather small) in Wales, Amy was sure she could find him later.
"Doctor!" Amy called out, walking into the main room. "Rory just left to buy some food. I him a list and I made sure to add fish fingers and custard on it." She said, rambling. "You seem to like the pair together, if I remember correctly." Amy added with a smile, remembering the time back when she was seven and tried to find a food the raggedy man who called himself a doctor but came out of a police box would actually eat.

Can't look back The Doctor was sitting on one of the battered chairs, his head lying on the arm. He was asleep, his breathing deep and his heart racing, and completely motionless. His head rolled to the side and he snored loudly.
He was strapped to a chair, metal bars surrounding him. His face was bruised and cut, the noise of creaking doors filled the room. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know where the TARDIS was. The room was steel, there were no windows, no lights, and no sign of anyone other than himself. A small door opened, a person in a long black cloak stepped out, they were holding another person under their cloak. The cloaked figure pushed the other person from under the cloak, it was Amy. Amy was crying, he wrist tied to the other person's arm, the Doctor's eyes widened as the masked figure kicked Amy to the ground. He struggled to get out of the thick leather straps. The masked person pulled out a gun, tears flooded out of the Doctor's eyes "NO! AMY!" he yelled, the gun fired.
The Doctor's eyes shot open, he quickly stood up. He frowned and wiped the tears off his cheek, looking straight at Amy, he ran up to her and hugged her tightly "Amy, Amy, Amy it was just a dream. I thought for a minute..." he stared at her and kissed her forehead "OK, fish custard? Yes good, OK, brilliant. Let's go" he grabbed Amy's hand and pulled out of the TARDIS, and into the world.

Amy was not ready for a sleeping Doctor to kinda jolt up, tear filled eyes and hug her. She knew very well the Docter was... err... strange, but this was especially strange even from the time lord with a bow tie. The ginger stood frozen with wide eyes, as he kissed her forehead and started dragging her to the door.
"Doctor? Are you feeling all right" Amy questioned after finding her voice. Her brain tried to piece together what just happened as she was pulled out of the TARDIS. There was something he wasn't telling her, which of course wasn't anything new; he was the Doctor, and as the Doctor he kept many things to himself. Amy didn't even know the real name of her imaginary friend. But Amy also trusted the Doctor, for whatever mental reason and she knew that he did often tell the truth, even at the most horrid times, like telling her she was dying and to shut up. "Doctor?" Amy said again, stopping them both in their tracks. "Doctor, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost--" There was a beat when something came to mind. "Ooh please don't tell me, ghost are real too!"

Can't look back The Doctor walked quickly, his pace growing faster and faster. Amy stopped him in their tracks "Doctor, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost--" he stared at her and frowned "I'm fine...... Just dreams are like the line between real life and fiction, and sometimes it's hard to tell which is which..." he kept walking, in silence, his head looking at his feet.
The dream kept coming back to him in his head, he kept remembering Amy's tear shed face. He flinched every time the gun shot, every time he screamed. His eyes shot over to Amy every few seconds, to check if she was OK. They kept walking, not really sure where they were going "Where do you want to go?" he mumbled.
The two walked through a small park, an average park with swings and slides. The Doctor put his hand on his head, it throbbed like splinters being thrown at it "Amy can we sit down?" he stumbled towards he swings and sat awkwardly on it. He shut his eyes and laughed "Me falling asleep on a swing, ha, brings back memories" his body went floppy as he drifted off to sleep.

Even as a little girl, Amy respected the Doctor. Sure, he was a weird man who came from a blue box, who ate fish fingers dipped in custard and thought beans were evil, but there was something about him that made Amelia trust him. He was strong, reliable, and didn't care what people thought of him (hence the bow tie) and Amy was glad to be his companion and friend. That didn't mean he still wasn't weird, because trust her when she says he still is, but it was a good weird, or at least a weird she got use to in their travels.
Amy knew her imaginary friend well enough to know he was keeping something from her, which of course was strange too, because although there was still a lot she didn't know about him, the Doctor was one to think aloud and usually give her answers when she asked for them. She walked close to him, wondering if she should ask, but know she shouldn't. He kept looking at her, Amy noted, with fear and worry in his eyes. There was a lot of flinching to. "Where do you want to go?" She studied him, he looked ill, very, very ill. "Doctor? What's wrong?" Amy asked softly, her voice coated with worry.
When he asked to sit down, Amy agreed, however she didn't even think the Doctor was listening to her as he stumbled towards the swings. He seemed in his own little world. "Me falling asleep on a swing, ha, brings back memories." Amy knew he was talking about their encounter with the Dream Lord, but she didn't even get a chance to speak when the Doctor just blacked out. She had to catch him, before he fell off the swing, and help him there.
"Doctor? DOCTOR?!" Amy called out repeatedly, giving him gentle shakes. Her eyes were wide with fear as she held on to him. "Please wake up? I need to know what to do" She should have never let him left the TARDIS, Amy knew he wasn't well, and now she was stuck in a stupid park with no one around with the Doctor who was apparently sleeping. What was she suppose to do? Even if this small town did have a hospital, she couldn't bring an alien with two hearts there.

Can't look back Cold sea breeze wisped past the Doctor's cheek. He was on a rocky beach, deserted and calm. The sea was rough, yet silent, the only sound was a car driving into the sandy land. He watched the car, it was a big four wheel drive, black and shining, but he'd seen it before, he knew he had.... A girl got out of the car, blonde and looking as if she was lost. He knew where he was, and he knew what was happening. A man appeared, in a brown pinstriped suit, he was transparent and seemed like a ghost. The Doctor was on Bad Wolf Bay, and this was the worst day in his and Rose's life.
The tenth Doctor, his face filled with anger, started to talk "You shouldn't have traveled with me!" he yelled. This was not right, everything was wrong, yet the Doctor kept watching, the sight making him want to burst out in tears. Rose stood silently and started to cry "But...." she mumbled, the other Doctor smiled "I'm glad you left" the Doctor frowned, his eyes tearing up, Rose went down on her knees, her eyes flooding "I thought, you....... I love you" she wept, the tenth Doctor laughed "I don't care"
The Doctor's eyes sprung open, his eyes once again filled with tears. He didn't know what was happening or why he felt so horrible, he started to cry and looked at Amy "I'm sorry, I really don't know what's happening" his stomach groaned as he spoke. He stood up, and raced towards a bush, he put his hands on his mouth as he ran. When he finally got there, he vomited up all of the weeks food. He frowned and walked back to Amy "I'm sick aren't I?" he moaned.

It was one of those times where Amy wished Rory was here, although he probably had less of a clue than herself, but at least with Rory, Amy would've felt braver and not so helpless. Plus Rory had medical training, which was better than nothing, because Amy was pretty sure the Doctor needed someone like that. Especially someone who actually knew he was an alien and wouldn't freak out when they tested him.
It was at that moment when the Doctor woke up, once again with tear-filled eyes. Amy knew for a fact now he was crying, which was strange. She never thought the Doctor would cry. In her eyes he was always strong and could do anything, but seeing this side of the Doctor, made her worry. "Shh!" Amy said softly with a gentle voice. "Doctor, it's going to be okay.
If the Doctor was ever going to reply, Amy didn't know, because he then ran and threw-up in a brush. As he was walking back, she rushed and met him half way, steadying him in fear he would fall over. "I'm sick aren't I?" Amy nodded, eyes wide with fear, until she remembered the Doctor couldn't be brave for her. She held him close and whispered, "Doctor, you need to tell me what's going on so I can help you. Can Time Lords get sick? How can I make you better?

Can't look back He smiled as he leaned on Amy's shoulder "I just need to get back to the TARDIS and then I..." he groaned as he almost hurdled to the ground "I just need to sleep, just need to rest" his voice was hoarse, and his body was weak. All he wanted to do was fall on the floor and sleep, or just close his eyes. He smiled at Amy "Come along, Pond" he whispered.
His head hurt, even more than usual. It was spinning at a million miles an hour, it throbbed worse every second. He kept pushing his weight onto Amy, though he felt guilty for making her look after him. A ray of sun hit his face, it was warm and calming, and he started to drift. It was like he wasn't really there, like he was just like a reflection from a mirror. He didn't talk, he didn't make a sound, he just walked towards the TARDIS, he knew he needed to get there. It was so close, but to him it seemed a mile away, his eyes began to close. He looked Amy "You need to get me to the TARDIS" he murmured as his eyes shut, and he hit into deep slumber...
