WICCANING

Since the dawn of man, gods and angels have been influencing earth and her people. For that same amount of time, demons and monsters have been clashing against the forces of heaven to claim the earth as their own. The battle between good and evil, gods and monsters, angels and demons, have been everlasting and has been maintaining the balance of earth.

Mankind has often felt the battles of good and evil and as a result, many disastrous events have happened over time. Mother Earth, the mother of mankind and the gentle wife of the Great Father, had no choice but to sit back and watch her human children die in the crossfire. When the Archangel Michael demanded the Sea God to send out a great flood to rid the planet of monsters and demons, Mother Earth finally took a stand. She asked the Great Father, creator of the light, father of angels, and rulers of the gods, to cease the conflict and spare their human children of any more suffering.

The Great Father complied and took the angels and gods from the earth and forced them to agree that they would no longer take part in the battle between good and evil. They would no longer be able to set foot on earth to wage war unless both the Great Father and Mother Earth grant them personal permission. The heavenly beings agreed, but they caught wind of the Great Father’s loop hole both devised their own way to fight the dark forces. The gods would come down to earth and would mate with humans, creating Demigods who would fight for them. The angels went down to earth and blessed newborns with the gift of magic. These children were called Blessed Ones, or more commonly known as Witches. From then on, Demigods and Witches have been battling monsters and demons, protecting the innocent and maintaining the balance between good and evil.

However, not all plans go accordingly. Sometimes the great good can be seen as evil in the eyes of the ignorant. Humans deemed Witches and Demigods as evil because of their magic. During the Salem Witch Trials, both Witches and Demigods were hunted by Witch Hunters and killed. Demons, devious beings from hell, took advantage of this and during the times as Witches and Demigods were hunted, the demons tempted as many of man, humans, Demigods, and Witches alike, and turned them into their own pawns of darkness. They were known as the Shadows and for a time, Shadows killed all in their sight. The age of Light and Darkness ceased for a while, both sides retreating until the Trials were over.

That was then, and this is now. The Greek Goddess Athena and the Archangel Gabriel have both come together and formed an Academy designed to train modern day Witches and Demigods on how to mediate the balance between humans and monsters, and more importantly: how to fight demons and the Shadows. This is where you come in, for only a child of a god or a blessed one can read the lost language of Latin. This letter is you acceptance letter into the real world. This my child, is your WICCANING
