So I really want to get some audio books/adventures(8/6!), but there are just so many that i don't even know. So this is a question for those who are more familiar with them. Any idea about some good audio stories? I don't mind the Doctors but I do want some Paul McGann. >.>

I just got into the Big Finish Audio dramas, so I am new to it as well. I'm 3/4 of the way through "Chimes of Midnight", which is pretty good and really amazingly weird. Friend of mine bought a whole pile of them and she said that, in general, they all tend to be weirder than the show, but I am alright with this.
Of the ones she got, she told me that "Neverland" has to precede "Zagreus" or the latter makes no sense; there may be others like that, but I gather most of them stand alone pretty well? She's only got a small sampling so far, though.
But we unanimously agree that Paul McGann can read us the phonebook any day. *sage nod*

I totally don't want Eight audiobooks just to hear McGanns voice. I've heard that Sicx is a lot cooler in the audiobooks(I love him in the show too).

Chimes of Midnight is definitely amazing. I really love Charley as a companion altogether for Eight, so I would pretty much just start at the beginning of her set (with Storm Warning, I believe) and honestly go from there. =D

Just finished "Seasons of Fear", which comes immediately after "Chimes of Midnight" and quite enjoyed it! I'm working on "Invaders from Mars" now, which actually comes right before "Chimes of Midnight".

Everyone keeps telling me to check Charley, I really have to now. Is this early on Eights timeline or is there anything I have to know before starting them.

All I know of the books featuring the Eighth Doctor is that Samantha Jones is supposedly pretty much the worst companion ever. Like, she makes Peri look awesome.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but in the two audio stories I've listened to so far, it was not difficult to pick up on what her basic deal is. So I guess it takes place after the movie, and then just in order of release.
