Rose Tyler was ready to sleep for at least a week. After having landed in a new planet, the Doctor and she had found themselves running from a group of very angry little green aliens. In the end they had lost track of where exactly the TARDIS had been parked and had been forced to run for hours until they finally found it. If she had to run again like that Rose was sure she was going to kill the Doctor or at least yell at him for a few hours.
They hadn’t even done anything this time. Rose guessed the aliens just weren’t fond of taller strangers landing on their small planet. Though Rose guessed that maybe they in their future but on the planets past had caused some trouble for the creatures. It wouldn’t be the first time something like that happened.
Once inside the TARDIS Rose had returned to her own room and had landed on the soft bed. She guessed the Doctor would do the same even if she hadn’t seen him sleep before. She wasn’t even sure if he had a bedroom. It was weird that she hadn’t asked him that before. It frankly had never occurred to Rose to ask him about his sleeping habits or eating habits. She traveled around with an alien and she didn’t even bother to ask about that. Well Rose would ask him once she had rested. In a few weeks.
Rose rest was cut short though as she landed on the hard cold floor of her room. After cursing a bit Rose stopped. Her floor wasn’t hard nor was it cold. It was soft she herself had designed the thing. Quickly standing up she tried to adjust her eyes to her surroundings. But everything was far too dark for her to be able to see anything. “Doctor are you there?” Rose tried calling as loud as she could, hoping that the Doctor was close by.
Since no response came Rose began to feel around for a door or a way out. After half an hour she was almost ready to give up all her hands touched was solid wall. Then her hand landed on what felt like a doorknob. Grinning she pushed on it and finally the door gave in and opened. Light flooded into the large room.
Able to see better Rose turned around to look inside. It was definitely not her room. There wasn’t even furniture on it. Turning around she found herself in a hallway. An unfamiliar one. “Doctor!” Rose tried calling for her friend again but it was useless as no reply came. If she wanted to find the Doctor she needed to look for him herself. Without another thought she closed the door and began to walk down the hallway.
Hopefully she’ll find something or someone that could help. Been here on her own was starting to creep her out. This place had a strange feel to it. She didn't know how but Rose had a feeling she wasn't in the TARDIS anymore.

After finishing Rose's post I still had some muse.
Romana smiled proudly at her work. This TARDIS was a mess. But she’d been looking around and fixing things. The Doctor had been a bit annoyed at first but finally had given in. It was work he didn’t need to do now. Frankly Romana knew that if she didn’t work on them he probably wouldn’t. No wonder the thing was falling apart. She’d been surprised to see a Type 40 still in use.
“Doctor I’m done here do you need help with anything else.” Romana quickly stood up. They hadn’t landed anywhere in sometime. Finally having found all the pieces of the Key of Time and then having to separate them again they were on the run from the Black Guardian. A very unfriendly guy. If Romana had known it would be this much trouble she would have stayed in Gallifrey. Well that was a lie, it was fun too and she still would have chosen to come.
If she had stayed in Gallifrey she wouldn’t have seen all of the things she now had. Even meeting the Doctor was something she was thankful for, even if he could get on her nerves with ease or mainly everyone else’s. While at times fun the Doctor’s disregard for rules could be dangerous at times. Romana felt a bit sorry for the humans he sometimes traveled with.
Bored Romana made her way to the control room hoping to find the Doctor or K-9 there. Yet before she could a bright golden light surrounded her. Romano closed her eyes and yelled for the Doctor and K-9, fearing than maybe she had touched the wrong thing while working on the TARDIS. The light went as quickly as it had come, leaving Romana standing in the middle of a long hallway.
The first thing that came to mind was that she wasn’t in the TARDIS anymore. Yet that made little sense. She’d been on it only seconds ago. People couldn’t just get teleported out of a TARDIS like that. For something like it to happen lot of energy was needed. Who could do something like that? Pinpoint a moving TARDIs and teleport someone from out of it? Only one creature came to mind and that was the Black Guardian. Had he found them and that left where was the Doctor?
If Romana had been teleported out of the TARDIS that could mean he was too, unless they had just wanted her. It was far too confusing. Romana needed more information about what had happened. Especially how someone had managed to bring her here, there was very little time to just stand around. Romana was going to find who had done it, where she was and hopefully how to get back.
She was getting annoyed and tired at been captured by everyone. When she found out who was behind this she was planning to have a long talk with them. If K-9 had been around this would have been easier. But since he wasn’t she was on her own for now.
Timeline: Right after the Key of Time serial but before Regeneration.

As much as the Doctor tried to resent Romana coming in and meddling with his TARDIS, he had to admit that she did a good job, and the old girl seemed to respond well to Romana's touch. Still, he had to keep up the pretense of annoyance, lest she start getting ideas. "No, I think you've done enough," he told her, when she asked if there was anything else she could do. He nodded at K-9. "Come on, K-9," he said. "How about another game of chess?"
"Affirmative, Master," piped up K-9, and the two of them went into the control room. No sooner had the Doctor laid out the chess board and started setting up the pawns, than he was interrupted by the sound of Romana calling out for them. "Did you hear that?" he asked K-9.
"The mistress requires our assistance," said K-9.
Concerned, the Doctor ran out to see what was wrong, the little tin dog trailing at his heels. There was a blinding flash of gold light, and then he found himself in the middle of a long hallway. "K-9?" he said, turning around, but the Doctor was the only one there. "Romana?" he tried instead. There was no answer. He removed his hat and held it, slightly defensively, against his chest as he crept though the hallway, not sure of what he would find at the end of it.
