In the distant future, the world is condensed, the remaining population of the world now lives in the ruins of North America in the country now named Panem which is seperated into twelve districts currently. There used to be thirteen but the Districts tried to rebel against the Capitol and failed, for their punishment, two things were issued. The destruction of District Thirteen, and the Hunger Games.
These games weren't average though, no, in order to realize who had full control each District had to sacrifice a boy and girl between twelve and seventeen to the Capitol in order to go into an Arena to fight to the death. Twenty-four would enter, and one would leave.
This...this is the beginning. Let the first annual Hunger Games begin!
