IANTO LLEWELLYN JONES !
intelligent - reserved - witty - determined - stubborn

As you may have guessed, my name is Ianto Jones, but almost everyone calls me Ianto or tea boy. I was born August 19, 1983, so that makes me just about twenty-eight. Don’t be alarmed, but I am a human.
ARE YOU REALLY HAPPY
---------------------------
WITH THE PERSON THAT YOU SEE IN THE MIRROR
Ianto stands 5'11" tall. His body type is average. Ianto has dark brown hair and blue eyes. There are no remarkable distinguishing features about Ianto on first glance. His outfit of choice at work is always a suit because Jack loves to see the Welshman wear them. But, at home, he'd rather lounge around in comfortable sweatpants and a casual t-shirt. Ianto has a smile that can melt anyone's heart and pale and smooth skin.
AND SO WE REACH A NEW POINT
---------------------------
IN THE PATH OF LIFE, DEATH AND IMMORTALITY
When first coming to Torchwood Three, Ianto was a very quiet, reserved, and distant man. He did his cleanup duties with no questions asked and never really went out of his way to hold any long, meaningful conversations with his new colleagues. But, when Lisa was discovered hiding in the basement, Ianto finally showed his more passionate side. It was clear that he cared deeply for Lisa and that the Battle of Canary Wharf had scarred him, showing the troubled side of him his fellow colleagues were unaware of.
For the most part, Ianto is still a reserved man. He's not all that comfortable around people who are overly emotional because he still has his own troubles showing his own emotions. But when he does manage to show his emotions, whether it be anger or passion or anything in between, his outbursts are quite intense. It's almost as if he's an "all or nothing" type of person. He's either not emotional enough or too emotional.
Ianto may seem like a submissive man--a follower rather than a leader--but, as was evidenced when Tosh and Jack were stuck in 1941 and he and Owen were arguing over who should be in the leadership role, Ianto can step up to that leadership position when he needs to. Ianto is prone to making humorous comments at inappropriate moments. He's a very intelligent young man and is somewhat offended when someone else knows more than he does.
Some of his likes include the lovely Captain Jack Harkness. He loves the man but he's afraid to say anything about that because Jack's going to live forever. He's going to have to watch Ianto grow old and die, and then he'll move on with his life and find someone else to be with. Ianto's not sure about their relationship status but he loves it when people call them a couple, even if Jack may hate that word. His other likes include tea, coffee, his job, wearing suits, and going to the cinema.
His dislikes include Captain John Hart. He hates that man and is a tad bit jealous of him as well. Jack and John shared some special moments with each other in the past and John is from Jack's homeland and time. He also doesn't like watching Jack die (even though he knows Jack will come back), being called Jack's part-time shag, and sharing personal information about his past with others.
HOW CAN WE EVER TELL A TALE
---------------------------
IF WE STILL DON'T KNOW ITS BEGINNING AND END
Ianto was born on August 19, 1983 in Cardiff. His father worked as a tailor at the retail store Debenhams, and his only sibling is his sister Rhiannon. Not a lot is known about Ianto's early life. He would tell his fellow colleagues at Torchwood Three that he had a decent relationship with his father, his father often taking him out to the movies on the weekends. But Rhiannon related an incident to Gwen that portrayed the fact that maybe Ianto didn't have an all "rainbows and puppies" relationship with his father. When Ianto was a young boy, his father pushed him too hard while on the swings, causing Ianto to fall and break his leg. Rhiannon's family picture seems to be the more credible because their father died shortly before Ianto was getting ready to go off to college, and, instead of sticking around and paying his respects to his father, Ianto got out of there as quickly as he could.
He did decently in school and took temporary job after temporary job, until landing a spot as a Junior Researcher at Torchwood One in London. It was there that Ianto met his girlfriend Lisa Hallett, and it was also there that they had to create an alliance with Cybermen to fight off the Daleks. Many of the Torchwood One staff were taken to be upgraded into Cybermen themselves, and Lisa happened to be one of those people chosen. During the Battle of Canary Wharf, Ianto managed to drag Lisa safely away, only to eventually hide her in the basement of Torchwood Three (more on that soon).
After the battle, Ianto moved back to Cardiff. He tracked down Captain Jack Harkness to try and get a job with Torchwood Three. At first, Jack was reluctant to hire him but impressed the Captain by helping him catch a pterodactyl. He became the "butler," so to speak, of Torchwood Three, taking care of small, yet important, duties around the compound. Things were going just fine for him, until he decided to hire a doctor to try to turn Lisa back into a human. She killed the doctor, and her presence was soon known by the other members. Lisa, after a short siege, was killed by the Torchwood Three members (excluding Ianto). For his hiding a Cyberwoman in the basement, Ianto was suspended for four weeks.
When he came back, Ianto began to take a more active role in Torchwood Three's activities and in Jack's love life. When Tosh and Jack became trapped in 1941, Ianto and Owen fought over the leadership role. Ianto went so far as to shoot Owen in the shoulder to keep him from using the Rift Manipulator to bring Tosh and Jack back. Owen did eventually use it, though, to bring them back, causing the rift to open up wide, bringing all sorts of beings from all times into Cardiff. After Jack's fight with Abaddon, Jack left his colleagues without a word.
During the time Jack was gone, Ianto began keeping a diary to write down interesting rift activity in, along with more personal things. A memory thief by the name of Adam Smith soon ingratiated himself into the Torchwood team and gave Ianto false memories of murdering three women. These memories, not surprisingly, affected him deeply but Jack was soon back, and he used short term amnesia pills on the whole team in order to cure them all. Most recently, Ianto helped Gwen discover what had happened to the lost boy Jonah by sneaking a GPS onto her desk giving her the coordinates to Flat Holm Island. Jack can be as angry as he wants to be with Ianto for giving away that secret location but Ianto knows he did the right thing.

THERE IS ALWAYS A PUPPETEER
---------------------------
CONTROLLING EVEN THE STRANGEST OF THE PUPPETS
Hello! My name is Lindsay, and I have been around for nearly twenty-twoyears. Roleplaying's not my only hobby, I'm also super talented at reading and playing the keyboard. Want to get in touch? You can contact me by emailand also by PM here at ACROSS TIME AND SPACE. So even if I've only been roleplaying for over six years, I think I’m pretty good! Here's an example:
Just a few minutes ago, Ianto Jones had been standing in Thames House with Jack standing right by his side. They had been talking with the 456 ambassador, trying one last go and negotiations because like hell they were will to roll over like dogs and let the 456 take ten percent of the Earth's population of children from them. But things hadn't gone as planned; him and Jack had just drawn their guns and were going to start shooting at the tank that house the ambassador but then all had gone dark. Ianto had blacked out.
When he had woken up, the first things he noticed were the facts that he was wearing the same suit he had been wearing in Thames House and that the gun he had draw was lying by his side. The next thing he discovered, as he sat up, that he was in some shopping center that didn't look the least bit familiar to his eyes. Whatever had happened to him the 456 couldn't be behind it because, if it had been some odd safety measure, Jack would be here as well.
Ianto grabbed his gun and slowly stood up. He put the weapon in his holster. "Jack?" he called out, a tinge of fear in his voice, hoping for answer but knowing that he wasn't going to get one. "Okay, Ianto," he said, running a hand through his hair as he turned around in a complete circle to observe his surroundings, "You've been in worse situations than this before, haven't you?" Well, he couldn't say because he didn't know what situation he was currently in.
From what he could see from his central position, the stores were fully stocked and, yet, he seemed to be the only living soul in this shopping center. He hadn't passed out, had he? This wasn't some strange dream he was having, was it? No...It couldn't be. There had been too much adrenaline and whatnot pumping through his veins while he was in Thames House; adrenaline was supposed to make someone more alert, not make them pass out and dream about being in an abandoned shopping center.
Oh but maybe it wasn't abandoned...Maybe there were other people in here, hiding out, fearful of the man with a gun who had appeared out of the blue. Ianto began to walk further into the shopping center. "Hello? Anyone here?" he called out. He still wasn't sure if he really wanted to meet anyone in here or not but he was the one with the gun.
